The new tag feature in DoView 4.0 will let you put tags on the major elements that you use in DoView (boxes and the elements under the advanced menu - indicators, questions and items).

You can use tags to categorize these elements in any way you like. For instance, you might like to categorize your boxes into outputs and outcomes and indicators into current and proposed.

We've used a '#' at the start of the tags as it has now become the universal symbol for a tag thanks to its use within Twitter.

You can have as many tags as you like on any element.

Tags are entered in the box that appears at the bottom left of the screen beneath the page list. You only see the box when you click on an element that can have tags. You can see what the box looks like in the screenshot below. To enter additional tags, put a comma after the first tag (e.g. after 'This is a tag').

We'll be blogging about the new priority icons you can also see in the box below during the coming week.
